The purpose of Studentweb is to provide the student body of Tulane with the necessary means to express themselves via the world wide web, so they can establish a global presence and experience the internet as it was meant to be. 	Studentweb would like to offer its users the newest greatest most expensive web software running on biggest, baddest, most state-of-the-art hardware available. Unfortunately, our budget sucks, and our staff consists of one person who just barely knows what he's doing. But despite all these shortcomings, we are willing to work hard to try to help you.
There are lots of plans for studentweb. Most of these plans have existed for at least a year, and still haven't happened. So the prospects for them may not be so good. But enough with the pessimism, let us pretend for a moment that I'm not completely lazy. There are plenty of ideas that could make studentweb a better resource for you, your friends, your school, the world, whatever. And we're committed to at least continue thinking about those ideas, and hopefully implementing a few. Until then, we're still offering webspace to students, so don't be afraid to ask if you need help. Although we're doing this primarily because we're sad people and computers are our only friends, we realize that Studentweb exists to serve you, so we are at your disposal.		Control Room.
