Waimea Bay

Waimea Bay is another north shore beach that will put you in awe of its beauty. Waimea’s sand is powdery soft, you could even rub it on your face and it would not hurt. During the winter Waimea beach is know for its huge waves up to 50 feet high, it is a surfers’ paradise. If you are up for an adrenalin rush Waimea beach has just the antidote. In the water there is a huge cliff that people dive off of into the water. If you choose to be a dare devil be careful. You have to time your dive just right to hit the water when the waves come in. If you would like a different kind of rush you could walk across the road to see Waimea Falls where you can hike and see the gorgeous waterfalls that you can swim in. There is plenty to do at Waimea beach and the falls. It will be a fun filled day if you venture here.
