Colin Marksbury

Colin Marksbury, a native New Orleanian, is a portrait photographer who is a recent graduate of Tulane University. For over 5 years, his interest in photography has grown from black and white to digital with an emphasis on portraiture. He is influenced and inspired by the work of Berenice Abbott, Lee Freidlander, Gordon Parks, Helen Levitt, and Emmet Gowin. Colin uses the lens to capture the raw emotions of people and animals in their natural environments as they go about their lives.
