David S. Anderson

Ph.D. Student in Anthropology at Tulane University

This website is to serve as a public record of my work as an archaeologist.  Below can be found my curriculum vita, links to published papers, and copies of papers presented at various conferences.

Currently my research is focused on the archaeological site of Xtobo, located in Yucatan, Mexico.  The site is an early Maya regional center, dating to between 700 and 300 BC.  Work at this site, and others in the region, is quickly changing my views on the early Maya, and I hope that it will similarly effect other Mayanists.
