means character development when you are working with young children.
It means having the ability to:

in various ways.

meaning.
- listen or look for information or directions.
Children interact with the environment. As children interact with
the environment they are placed in, they learn how to:
- take in knowledge
- build upon the knowledge they have already acquired
- and interact in social ways
