John Snyder Bio

My name is John Snyder and I am an artist pursuing a major in Digital Design and a minor in Media Arts at Tulane University.

My skills as an artist have an ultimate role in my work as a digital designer. Through using these many programs I have been able to really explore and gain a new perspective of advanced mediums. I have gathered experience and skill by using such programs Freehand, Flash, Photoshop, Maya, Poser, Bryce 5, and In Design. I am quite proficient with Flash Animation and have really taken a liking to it.

I love to listen to music, going out to see a live show, and relaxing by playing some games on the playstation 3. I am also a die hard New Orleans Saints fan. I enjoy playing basketball, football, soccer, golf and fishing, even though it has been quite a while since I have last gone out on the water.

I was born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana. My Parents are from New York and decided to move to New Orleans after they spent their honeymoon in the Crescent city. I went to Lusher Elementary and Lusher Extension (junior high school) and I graduated from Eleanor McMain High School in 2003.

I am currently enrolled in Tulane University's School of Continuing Studies ( formally known as Tulane's University College).I am also a chef at the Fresco Cafe. I am expecting to graduate in the spring of 2008.
