Hi, my name is Nina Majid: welcome to my homepage.
Who am I? I am currently a student at Tulane University studying for the Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS). So far, I have completed one year and will need to continue with my studies for a few more years before I can achieve my academic goal. I consider the completion of the first year a major feat in itself, for I had began the study after fifteen years ( years spent in raising my then young children), and I was unsure as to whether I had the ability to not only study but also to study well. I have so far proved to myself that yes, it is true that, as the saying goes, you are never too old to study. As for hobbies, I am like a juggler who has too much to juggle which leaves very little time for hobbies. I am continuously juggling housework, cooking, children's activities, voluntary activities, career, and my studies. Thus, where is the time for hobbies? On the rare occasions when I do have moments to myself, I enjoy painting, needle-work, gardening, and my favorite luxury, reading books. I have books that I have kept to the side to read for over a year now. Books such as A Shameful Affair by Kate Chopin, Rebbecca by Daphne Du Maurier, and Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. I don't know when, but I am still determined to read these books.
