Hey Everyone,
Here are some pics from my new home.
Working with Special Forces is quite a bit different from the Marines. There I had to shave everyday no matter what. Here they require me to grow a beard.

This is a picture of our the town of Naray as it is seen from the road in front of our firebase. The robustness of these mountains, which seem so imposing in person, never comes through in the pictures.

This is Keith, my new partner, and I hanging out at the Check Point with the ANA
By the way, your packages have been awesome, I really appreciate all of the support.
Thank you
SONNY
Afterthought: I was really happy to move to Naray, working with the guys of SF team 3-66 was great. They were so professional and laid back. That was the first and only time that I got a base intel briefing!!! Not only that, but the mission tempo with the Marines had been crazy. Marc and I would get in from one mission just as another group was going out. Time for a shower and off, no idea even where we were going most of the time. With the Special Forces, we had time for mission planning, rehearsals, and AARs--almost like being in the real Army.
