This wad was made in order to enhance deathmatch play to its fullest. Many of its features will demand on you as a Deathmatch Player. With proper Technique and intuition these levels will turn out to be pure deathmatch carnage. The advantage is always given to the Player who can run and shoot on a whim. If you feel like playing a GRUSOM game of deathmatch you must try:

Level 1

Level 1 is based off of the origanal Doom2 level 1. To start off reconstruction was done which has completely opened up the level making it almost twice without adding much. (Although by first glance it will almost look the same....look around some more) Another change is that the Deathmatch-Respawn sights have been hidden away to protect from an instantly repeated Death.

                 

Level 2

Level 2 consists of mainly three rooms. They are all connected by a number of hallways that are all linked. Although it is a basic layout it takes a skilled player to stay alive for long.

                 

Level 3

Behind this simple layout of an X. This level allows for Sneaking & Destroying, this is do to the fact that the light level of the interior is Dark enough to make running unseen very possible. A good eye & keen intuition will help you rule this level.

                 

Level 4

The layout of this level is a 4 layered castle. The layers contain a dungeon, two main levels, and then the upper lofts. This level can get two players lost from one another, but with the advances of technolgy there is now a way to track your oppnents with arrows that point the way. Learn to use them properly and the Frag will be yours.

                 

                 

Level 5

This level is a simple 9-room layout with lifts all over the place. The map screen can prove to be a big help on this level. Along with the proper playing strategies.

                 

Level 6

Level 6 "The Maze": this level is based around a maze. deathmatch can be limited to the maze or you may choose to use the whole level. There are three lifts that will allow you to get out of the maze, and from there it is all based on who can find the way. Who ever Learns the methods in which to hunt will be most successful on this level.

                 

The first, second, and sixth level the exits are Very Obvious...But on the other three levels the exits have been hidden away slightly in order for them not to be hit randomly durring deathmatch. There are only a hand full of "stupid" monsters on the first level but it is recomened that you still play with the nomonster option.

This file is in either the ZIPPED format and the .SEA.HQX format. In order to run you must first unzip, or unstuff it and then load the wad with Doom2. For MacDoom2 you can either Drag the icon of the wad onto the MacDoom2 program icon or you can open MacDoom2 and load it internally. If you have the Mac Wad Converter you may use that and then double click on the wad icon. For DOS use the command line from your Doom2 directory:
C:\DOOM2> DOOM2 -file death1-6.wad
